About

Policy, then comms, then AI

I run executive and internal communications for Consumer Apps Marketing at Google. I've been at Google for 15 years, across policy, product launches and comms, in Mountain View, London and San Francisco.

How I got here

I started in policy: UK tech and IP policy at the British Embassy in Washington, then policy for Search, Chrome and Google Play at Google.

In 2015 I moved to the marketing side. I built Google Cloud's first brand narrative, wrote messaging for 25+ AR and VR launches, then spent seven years in London running comms for EMEA Marketing.

I've spent my career explaining new technology to the people it affects. Now I build with it too.

Why I build

I'm not an engineer. I build with AI anyway. Google Antigravity chose me as its only non-technical case study.

I also founded AI Power Hour, a weekly hands-on session that gets other non-technical people using AI. Google's central marketing training team scaled a version to thousands of marketers worldwide.

The most durable skill in an AI-driven workplace is judgment written down.
